Homemade Clay Bath Recipe

Posted by Ruby Tequin on

Detox bath, when prepared properly, offers a myriad of benefits to you and your pet.  It can relieve toxic load by gently pulling out the oil, dirt, and all the impurities that clogged your pores. It also balances the hormones leaving the nervous system calm and relaxed.

Bentonite clay is highly recommended for clay bath. Unlike other clay that is contaminated with other chemicals, this healing clay is so pure that you can even drink it. Below is a DIY clay bath recipe you can do at home:

1/2 cup Epsom salt

1/2 cup bentonite clay

3 drops French lavender essential oil

3 drops frankincense essential oil

Handful of lavender flowers (optional)

How to do it:

First, mix the bentonite clay, Epsom salt, and the essential oils in a container. Pour the mixture into a bath and put the lavender flowers last. Let you or your beloved pet sit in the detox concoction for 25 to 30 minutes.

Your pet’s body has natural detoxifiers. However, after years of becoming exposed to a lot of environment toxins, their detoxifying organs such as liver, kidney, or gallbladder, get stressed and clogged up too. Just like sauna, clay cleansing in a form of clay bath just is another way to help your four-legged friends eliminate the toxins from their body.
