Are You Exposed to Heavy Metals?

Posted by Ruby Tequin on

Found in the earth’s crust, heavy metals are substances that have high electrical conductivity, malleability, and luster. Some heavy metals are essential to our body but most of them have been proven to be a major threat to our health.

Zinc, copper, and lead are the most common heavy metals absorbed by people who are living in areas of intensive industry. These trace elements are often released from roadways and automobiles, accounting for at least 90% of the total metals found in road travels. Once introduced to the environment, these metals cannot be broken down and will turn into substances that pollute the air, water, and soils.

Bentonite clay is one of the most inexpensive yet effective natural treatments available. Harvested in the deposits near Fort Benton, Wyoming, this aged-volcanic clay has been used as a detoxification tool and healing ingredient in treating medical conditions since pre-historic era. Up until now, many people—and even celebrities—are trying this nature’s wonder.

Also known as the detoxifying clay, bentonite clay contains a strong negative charge that can flush out positively charged toxins, heavy metals, and other impurities in the body. Enriched with various trace elements such as magnesium, potassium, sodium, iodine, it can also be ingested and used as a food supplement or mineral replacement for both humans and animals.
