We found this great vegan, gluten-free breakfast cookie recipe on Pinterest and added pure calcium benonite clay to boost the health aspects. After our first batch we also adjusted some of the measurements, but the ingredients are basically the same. We originally used gluten free steel cut oats and let’s just say they didn’t make the cut. This couldn’t be easier!
The brown spots on a fully ripened banana with dark spots on the yellow skin produces a substance called tumor necrosis factor or TNF which has the ability to combat abnormal cells. The greater the number of dark patches, the greater its immunity enhancing quality. So save those bananas from the compost pile and make these yummy breakfast cookies instead!
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
2 super ripe bananas
1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
handful of craisins
1 Tbsp pure calcium bentonite clay
Mash bananas in bowl. Add oats and applesauce. Blend well. Add craisins. Sprinkle clay over mixture and blend. Cook for 35 minutes in 350 degree oven. Let cool and enjoy! Can also be frozen after cooling and pulled out for a quick and nutritious breakfast.
